Jayson Throckmorton
Jayson Throckmorton provides the rockin' power-tenor solos for Face. Before moving to Colorado, Jayson sang with and directed the venerable University of Virginia Gentlemen. "For me it's more than just singing - it's the audience that I love.
I like finding those people who are really getting into it and
singing to them. It's more fun for everyone when everyone feels
involved." Jayson received music and biology degrees from University
of Virginia, and even tried Medical School for a short time. In
addition to Face, he also runs a popular restaurant and bar in
Broomfield.

Forest Kelly
Forest Kelly has been the band's bass and crooner from the beginning, equally at home thumping the low notes as singing the silvery tones that make women melt. “It is awesome to make the stage rumble, the walls shake, and people actually to feel the bass. I don't consider myself a singer when I sing those low notes, but the foundation of Face. Then there's nothing like dropping the bass-line and sliding into a solo, piercing the air with the sweet stuff.” Forest, a Boulder native, is a Fairview High School alum who sang with Extreme Measures at the University of Colorado and fronted Fluorescent Echo, a Boulder 90's synth-pop band.

Mark Megibow
Mark Megibow provides the heart-pounding beats for Face. Unlike many beat-box artists, he has a background in instrumental percussion, and has been playing real drums since the third grade. Mark has performed with ensembles ranging from symphony orchestras, to marching bands, loud obnoxious rock bands, and now Face. “I won't lie,” admits Mark, “vocal drumming is easier than instrumental drumming. Especially carrying the gear! It's more fun, too, because I'm not locked down behind the kit.” Mark got his music degree from Northwestern University, and when not on stage, leads seminars for teens on leadership, communication, and life skills.

Ben Lunstad
Ben Lunstad's baritone voice ties the bass and tenors together and gives a distinct richness to the Face sound. He also has a history of founding award-winning vocal ensembles. After heeding his father's advice to “have something to fall back on if this singing thing doesn't work”, Ben received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry while pursuing singing to keep him “sane”. During that time, he co-founded St. Olaf College's Limestones, University of Colorado's Extreme Measures, and Face, all of which continue to thrive to this day. Ben also spends time arranging music for Face. “Arranging is all about picking the right songs and then making them unique. After a while, you learn what works. Besides, it's easier than biochemistry.”

Stephen Ross
Stephen Ross brings a wealth of musical experience as well as blisteringly high tenor vocals to Face. One of Face's arrangers and songwriters, he received his music degree from University of Colorado, and while there founded BufferZone, one of the popular a cappella groups at the Boulder campus. He is currently the vocal music director at Skyline High School in Longmont, Colorado. “It's neat to be able to help kids learn the basics singing, then be able to provide an example of another way they can use their voices.”

Ryan Driver
Driver returned to Face in 2005 after touring for a year with Almost Recess from Washington, DC. With his amazing vocal range and intense musical arrangements, he is responsible for much of the raw power that Face fans love. He's been wowing audiences with his vocal chops since the second grade, and is a former president of University of Colorado's In the Buff. "I've heard and sung with a lot of different groups, but there is a special magic about Face. You have to see it and hear it to believe it." Driver has recently begun an apprenticeship to become a recording engineer at Sonic Audio Productions in Denver.
